Developed with regulation in mind, our certified products offer solutions to customers who otherwise have been unable to access the Voluntary Carbon credit markets and are subjected to emissions taxation or tariffing.
Every ton of biocarbon produced sequesters roughly 2.7 tCO2e and the durability of the carbon in soil and materials has been shown to last over 1000 years. By utilizing streams of waste that would otherwise be discarded and diverting these materials as a replacement for traditional coal, we offer hard to abate industries renewable sources of chemical energy enabling our customers access to a variety offsets and tax credits, ensuring the long term financial viability of the core industries that are vital to our economies.
When biochar is integrated into the soil or directly into cement, it creates the opportunity for permanent Carbon Dioxide Removal (CDR). Ultimately these activities produce credits that can be accessed via the Voluntary Carbon Market (VCM). Our biochar is produced per Puro and Vera methodologies and in some cases can be used efficiently for CORC generation.
Our materials are only sourced from responsibly grown forest tracts that are under compliance schemas like SFI and FSC, paving the way for truly renewable product. We are currently onboarding with regulatory schemas that provide compliance with the EU Emissions Trading System (ETS) and Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) as well as a variety of other compliance systems and frameworks.
